Matthew Conradt is a Brooklyn-based artist that has been exhibited widely in the US and abroad. Conradt completed his MFA from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn in 2008 and that same year he was an Artist-In-Residence at the Cooper Union School of Art. In 2012 he was a part of the first Artist-In-The- Marketplace Biennial at the Bronx Museum of Art and was Artist-In-Residence in 2016 and 2017 at the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Workspace program. In 2019 Conradt was awarded a New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) Fellowship Grant. He has had numerous solo presentations in galleries in New York City, notably including a solo presentation at the Volta Art Fair in 2014. Conradt’s work has been shown at Wave Hill in the Bronx, Art Paris, Caldwell University in New Jersey, Kunsthalle Galapagos, Art Helix and the Arkansas Arts Center. His work has been featured in the New York Times, SHK Magazine, Hyperallergic, and N+1 Magazine.
